WLTW 2019 Day 2.

All right Warrior Family, day 2 complete.  Day 2 is all about Team.  The 2019 Team started early with an upper body obstacle course on Peden Field.  It was cold, temps in the lower 30’s, but the Team rose to the challenge and finished the exercise.  They had the chance to quickly run back to the hotel and change for a tour of the US Army Airborne school, hosted by the 507th Airborne BN.

LT Joe Amato assigned to the 507th spent time talking to the Team about his experience being recruited to play DI lacrosse at VMI and the value it has given him to his future career.  A Q&A lecture regarding being part of of successful team was presented by COL Douglas Vincent, Ft. Benning Chief of Staff.  Warriors Leading the Way, into the 2019 season.

Good hot lunch at the OCS mess hall and on to the NIM (National Infantry Museum), to spend time walking the halls for the afternoon.  Southern BBQ dinner and some great football (Close Games), wraps up Day 2.  Early PT running scheduled for the morning.

WLTW 2019 Day 1 is in the books.

Well Day 1 of WLTW 2019 is in the books.  Team had to endure a full day starting early with the ranger in-brief by the US Army’s ARTB at Camp Rogers. The RI’s started them out running through the Malvesti obstacle course in 19 team of two Battle Buddy’s.  Overcast and 50 degree weather made the water obstacle a little uncomfortable for the Warriors from Jupiter.

After completing the course as a Team, they had the opportunity to be briefed by a two time Olympic Gold medalist SFC McPhail on his dedication to training.  This was followed by a briefing by the 2018 Best Ranger winner SFC Rolfes discussion on mental toughness and never quitting.  Quick lunch of MRE’s and off to Todd Field for some CQB and head to head paint ball matches.

The team made a quick stop to check out some historic armor, before heading back to the hotel for a pasta dinner.  With day 1 down, have to catch some Zzz’s for another big day tomorrow.

We can not thank the Command, NCO’s and soldiers of the 4th Ranger BN enough.  These are the patriots that truly make our country Great.  #RLTW,  #WLTW2019

Congratulations Jack Lambert on your commitment to play for Rollins College.

Happy New Year Jupiter Warrior Family!

Well we are less than a month away to tryouts and the start of the 2019 lacrosse season.  Want to thank all the Alumni, parents and friends of our program, for coming out for annual alumni game.  It was a great event to share with past, present and future players. It was also great to see the growth of the level of play on the field.  Multiple players representing D1, D2 and D3 schools, sharing their experiences with our current team.  Schools represented on the field, Jacksonville University, UMBC, Hartford University, Liberty University, FAU, Maritime College and if I missed any I apologize. The alumni prevailed, they took the lead early and never trailed, but the Warrior team never gave the alumni breathing room.  Final score 10-9.

We have a full month getting ready for the beginning of our season.  We have a mandatory Ranger Weekend meeting for all players & parents of players attending, on 10 JAN 2019.  To consolidate schedules we will have our board/fund raising meeting following the Ranger meeting, we will keep it as brief as we can.  Ranger weekend begins the mental preparation to build the Esprit-de-Corp to Repeat 2019.  Team will depart JHS 18 JAN to Ft. Benning, GA and return 21 JAN 2019.  25 JAN 2019 “Race to Repeat” spin event at the Cyclebar, to help with our annual fund raiser.  Tryouts for the 2019 season beginning Monday 28 JAN 2019 at JHS.

Looking forward to see what our 2019 Seniors can build as a Team to Repeat!
